91 Points - Ian D’Agata - Vinous - “Bright straw-green. Lemon, lime, almond flowers and gin on the very pretty nose. Then lively acidity on the palate too, offering zingy flavors of lemon, lime, mint and flowers. The calcaire-derived acidity is truly piercing and pure, neatly extending the flavors on the long back end. Made from old vines around Gueberschwihr (Olivier told me the youngest were planted in the 1970s, so this is a true old-vines cuvée). I’m a huge fan of volcanic soils, but this is a knockout wine and much better and tastier than the 2014 Roche Volcanique Riesling.”
