DOMAINE TEMPIER BANDOL 'LA TOURTINE' 2015

“Near the village of Le Castellet on the top of the massif, at an average altitude of 170 m, this rather homogeneous clay-limestone soil is based on Santonian about 100 million years ago. This terroir where Mourvèdre expresses itself fully, gives fruity and powerful tannic wines with between 70 and 80% of Mourvèdre depending on the years. Often swept by the mistral, La Tourtine is particularly well exposed, which gives a wine of great care which always has these aromas of small red fruits and spices, even after 10 to 15 years of age.”
