“Varietals: 100% Malbec Location: Located on the left bank of the Cher River southwest of the town of Thésée from a parcel of 30 – 40 year old vines. Soil: Shallow soils on the surface of sand and flint with clay and limestone subsoils 1 meter underneath. Yield: 35 – 40 hl/ha Vinification: The grapes are hand picked and destemmed before a maceration of 8 – 10 days. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel and then the wine is transferred into 600 liter barrels for ageing. After 2 years, the wine is racked and bottled.”
